The celebration of Juneteenth will be on Friday June 19th with many activities happening on the island for the weekend. You can visit the ongoing exhibit The Pullman Porters: A Tribute to Juneteenth at the Galveston Railroad Museum through June 30th. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday the 19th celebrate the 161st Anniversary of Juneteenth at 2217 Strand Street.
